UL Nursery School Teachers

Mrs. Mischelle, Me, and Mrs. Susie

Courir du Mardi Gras (Cajun Mardi Gras)!!!

We had a Mardi Gras parade at my school today.
I put my costume on and all of a sudden I was surrounded by these girls! I should wear this more often :-)

...and they kept on coming...

My mom made (rigged) this costume with the help of Aunt Lynette. I was proud to put it on, but couldn't wait to rip it off after the parade.

(important side not: the yellow boa is holding my cape on. Mom didn't just fling a boa around my neck.)

(mommy note: Brant was VERY enthusiastic about shaking his shaker during the parade!!! He had a blast...was the first one out and the last one to leave. Should I be worried?)

I love Mardi Gras!!!

That's my teacher Mrs. Mischelle...and me following her lead.

I had the important job of carrying the gumbo pot at the end of the parade. I dunno...I guess they picked me because I am strong.

Mimi and April came to show support.
(Nana and Daddy wanted to come too, but both had to work).
Happy Mardi Gras!!!
